Family Coach
The Family Coach provides support and education services to children and families to improve the functioning of the family unit and the creation of patterns, routines and discipline strategies that support the mental well-being, growth and development of the child. Based upon the concepts of Kim John Payne’s Simplicity Parenting and The Soul of Discipline, Family Coaching Services are designed, utilizing best practices and trauma informed approaches, to meet the specific needs and challenges of the student and family. Family coaching services are provided as a part of the family’s school or behavioral health care team to build a partnership creating a supportive and coordinated approach between school, clinical providers and the home that allows parents and caregivers to learn and grow along-side of their child.
The Family Coach is a resource for families during the entirety of their enrollment and participation in CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health programs and will help guide and support families and faculty as the strategies and approaches needed to support children change and evolve as they grow and develop.
The current Coach opening works primarily within the Behavioral Health Program.

There are few forces more powerful than a child who believes he/she can do it! The St. John Neumann School for Children and Families was envisioned as an opportunity for a health organization to re-imagine what childcare and early childhood education could be. The results will be empowering to the families, and energizing to teachers and staff as we create educational experiences that empower children and families to believe they can lead happy, healthy lives.
CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health is currently seeking qualified candidates to serve as Co-Teachers on the team at the St. John Neumann School for Children and Families in Columbia, PA.

Mental Health Therapist – Child & Adolescent
At CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health, we believe that children’s behavioral health, and our ability to unleash the brilliant potential of the children we serve, requires us recognizing, working with and strengthening the individuals, family, and systems with whom the child engages. We do this while also helping the child gain the skills necessary to fully engage life and the world around them. Imagine joining a team of mental health professionals who work in unison to unlock the potential and possibility of every child and family we serve. We are currently seeking qualified therapists to join our expanding child and adolescent program.
