Creating Healthy Communities: An Evening with former Secretary Julian Castro
CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health is proud to announce tickets are now on sale for “Creating Healthy Communities: An Evening with former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Julian Castro.”
VIP Dinner and Reception 5:00 p.m. Carr’s Restaurant, Lancaster
Lecture 7:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. Ware Center, 42 North Prince St. Lancaster
This special event will include a dynamic lecture by former HUD Secretary Castro about the challenges and opportunities faced when striving to create healthy and thriving communities, both locally and nationwide. The lecture portion of the event will take place from 7:15 p.m. to 9:15 p.m. at the Ware Center located at 42 North Prince St. Lancaster, Pennsylvania. An optional VIP dinner and reception beginning at 5 p.m. at Carr’s Restaurant in Lancaster is also open to the public.
During the event, Castro will share his experience creating positive changes in communities as a local and national figure, and how his faith influenced his passion for improving the lives of individuals and families in the communities he has served.
Tickets for the VIP dinner and lecture are $125 and general admission lecture-only tickets are $50. The VIP experience includes a reception beginning at 5 p.m. and dinner with former Secretary Castro beginning at 6 p.m. at Carr’s Restaurant. The VIP experience is limited to 75 attendees and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All proceeds from the ticket sales will support the programs and services provided by CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health throughout the Lancaster community.
