Alison holds a Master of Social Work from Millersville University and has completed post-graduate education in Applied Behavior Analysis and Nonprofit Management. Alison became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in 2017, after holding an LSW since 2014. She has experience treating children, adolescents, and families. Before coming to CHI ST. Joseph’s Children Health, Alison worked with children on the Autism Spectrum and their families, proving behavior consultation and outpatient therapy, while also managing a summer program designed to teach social skills and coping skills. Professional interests include trauma informed treatment, Applied Behavior Analysis, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, family systems theories, developmental disabilities, and working with children and families.
Alison grew up in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania and moved to the Lancaster area after high school to pursue her college degree. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, reading, crafting, teaching social work courses, and engaging in volunteer work with the pregnancy and infant loss community.
