Kim joined CHI St. Joseph Children’s Health in August 2017 as a psychotherapist for our Behavioral Health program. Kim obtained her Bachelor’s degree in organizational behavior/applied psychology at Albright College. From there, she went on to study clinical psychology and social work at Millersville University, where she obtained her Master of Social Work degree. Kim is a Licensed Social Worker with experience treating children, adolescents, adults, couples and families. As a strength-based therapist, Kim’s practice theory emphasizes self-determination and empowerment. Kim views each individual as possessing unique strengths and abilities, inspiring growth and healing.
As a mother of six children, Kim has a passion for working with families on issues of parenting, trauma, mental illness and emotional interactions within the family unit. In any spare time, Kim enjoys hiking, biking, beach going and exploring new places with her husband and family.
